El “Cheque de Cultura Europea”: La cultura tiene un poder transformador que puede ayudar a promover la cohesión social, la solidaridad y la participación de los jóvenes en la resolución de problemas sociales. Queremos que los jóvenes tengan un pensamiento crítico, que desarrollen sus propias ideas, que sean independientes, creativos y capaces de comprender la complejidad del mundo por sí mismos.
Empleo
Una Garantía Juvenil Europea permanente: La Garantía Juvenil es una iniciativa europea lanzada en abril de 2013, gracias al Partido Socialista Europeo. Consiste en la garantía de que a todos los jóvenes que terminen sus estudios se les ofrecerá un puesto de trabajo, o de formación, o prácticas o la oportunidad de continuar su educación dentro de los cuatro meses siguientes al momento en el que terminaron la escuela o perdieron su trabajo.
Educación
Erasmus para todos: El icónico programa de intercambio internacional Erasmus es, sin duda, un gran ejemplo de cómo Europa puede aportar un valor añadido a sus ciudadanos. Pero, hasta ahora, el programa estaba limitado a las universidades. Creemos que otros jóvenes también deberían poder beneficiarse de ello.
Niños
Garantía del Niño: Los niños son uno de los grupos más frágiles en situaciones de dificultades económicas. Creemos que no deberían ser ellos los que sufran las consecuencias de la crisis. Nuestro programa para ellos es asegurarnos de que tendrán acceso a asistencia sanitaria gratuita, a educación y cuidado infantil gratuitos, a una vivienda digna y a nutrición adecuada.
